Stages G Organelles Cell Dna List Interphase Order

Interphase includes G1 (growth, protein/organelle synthesis), S (DNA replication), and G2 (continued growth, energy increase, DNA check).

Interphase consists of G1 (growth, protein synthesis, organelle replication), S (DNA replication), and G2 (further growth, energy storage, DNA checkpoint).

Front List 3 stages of interphase in order and describe what happens at each stage.
Back Stages of interphase:
  • G1 - proteins from which organelles are synthesised are produced, organelles replicate and cell increases in size
  • S - synthesis phase - DNA is replicated in the nucleus
  • G2 - cell continues to increase in size, energy stores increased, duplicated DNA checked for errors
