Volume & demand:- As volume of organisms increases they get larger and are made up of more cells
- These cells will require glucose and oxygen supply in order to carry out respiration in order to carry out vital bioprocesses hence why demand and volume are related
Surface are & supply: - Some organisms are able to use their surface as their supply of oxygen so for a greater surface area more oxygen can be supplied (if volume kept constant)
