Front | Why was Frank Tashlin fired and then rehired to the Warner Bros studio? |
---|---|
Back | Tashlin created a comic strip with a character loosely based on Van Beuren that he worked on the side. Schlesinger asked him for a cut of the profits under the pretense of Tashlin working at his studio and Tashlin responded very angrily, prompting Schlesinger to fire him. Later Schlesinger brought him back when he needed talent. |
