Epsp Temporal Summation?  Occurs Single Synapse Generates Quickly

Temporal summation occurs when rapid successive EPSPs from a single synapse add up over time, potentially reaching the threshold to trigger an action potential before the previous EPSP fades.

Occurs when a single synapse generates EPSP so quickly that each is generated before the previous one fades (allos EPSP to add up over time to a threshold that triggers AP)
