Fever Provide Protection?  Pathogen Extremely Temp Sensitive Slightly Slow

Fever protects the host by slowing temperature-sensitive pathogen growth, speeding up damage repair, enhancing the immune system, and inducing hypoferremia.

La fiebre protege al huésped al ralentizar el crecimiento de patógenos sensibles a la temperatura, acelerar la reparación de daños, potenciar el sistema inmunitario y inducir hipoferremia.

Front How does a fever provide protection?
Back 1. If pathogen is extremely temp-sensitive, may slightly slow their growth
2. increases metabolism to speed repair of damage
3. Facilitates/enhances actions of immune system
4. Induces hypoferremia
