Hair Cells Stereocilia Called Describe Arrangement Cupula Vestibular

Hair cells have stereocilia that project into a gelatinous material called the cupula, which activates vestibular neurons when moved.

Front Describe the arrangement of hair cells, stereocilia, cupula, and vestibular neurons
Back 1. Receptors of the semicircular canals are hair cells located in the crista ampulla
2. Hair cells have stereocilia that are graded in height towards the tallest one called a kinocillium
3. Stereocilia project upwards into gelatinous material called the cupula
