Passive escape (used by most pathogens) occurs when the pathogen is separated or expelled from the source along with other exiting substances like urine, mucus, saliva, or feces.

El escape pasivo (utilizado por la mayoría de los patógenos) ocurre cuando el patógeno se separa o expulsa de la fuente junto con otras sustancias salientes como orina, mucosidad, saliva o heces.
