Vehicle transmission (indirect contact) occurs when a pathogen travels from source to a new host via an inanimate intermediate called a fomite.

La transmisión por vehículo (contacto indirecto) ocurre cuando un patógeno viaja de la fuente a un nuevo huésped a través de un intermediario inanimado llamado fomite.
