Cell Checkpoints Prevent Progressing Stage Cycle Quickly.  G2

Text Checkpoints prevent the cell from progressing to another stage of the cell cycle too quickly.  For example, the G2 checkpoint checks that all DNA has been replicated and is not damaged.
