Energy I Photosynthesis Chlorophylls Absorb Light Boosting Electrons

Text During photosynthesis, chlorophylls absorb energy from light, boosting electrons to a higher energy level in photosystems I and II, which are embedded in the membranes of chloroplasts.  Photosystem I and II are connected in an electron transport chain.
