Exons Splicing Retaining Mrna Transcript.  Primary Alternative Process

Text Alternative splicing is the process of splicing introns and retaining exons in the mature mRNA transcript.  There are many different exons on a primary transcript.  Selectively retaining exons from the primary transcript leads to different mRNA transcripts and different proteins.
