Operons Repressible Inducible Turned Trp Synthesis Tryptophan Lac

Inducible Operon - lac for lactate metabolism

Repressible operons are normally turned on while inducible operons are normally turned off.  Repressible operons work on negative feedback, while inducible operons only turn on in the presence of their substrate.
