Sympatric Speciation Evolution Species Due Individuals Reproductively Isolated

Text Sympatric speciation is the evolution of a new species due to individuals being reproductively isolated from a surviving ancestral population.  There is no geographic barrier.  This can result from genetic mutation (especially polyploidy in plants), habitat differentiation, or sexual selection.
