Aneurysm Atheroma Arteries Blood Layer Describe Plaque Damages

Atheroma weakens and narrows arteries, increasing blood pressure, which can cause the inner layer to push through the outer elastic layer, forming a balloon-like aneurysm that may rupture and cause hemorrhage.

A ateroma enfraquece e estreita artérias, aumentando a pressão arterial, o que pode fazer com que a camada interna se projete através da camada elástica externa, formando um aneurisma semelhante a um balão que pode romper e causar hemorragia.

Front Describe Aneurysm
Back 1. Atheroma plaque damages and weakens arteries moreover the atheroma narrows arteries increasing blood pressure.
2. Blood travelling through the weakened artery at high pressure which may cause the inner layer to be pushed through outer elastic layer forming a balloon like swelling.
3. The Aneurysm may burst leading to a haemorrhage
