Categories Results Criteria Chi Squared  Data Frequencies Don’t

The chi-squared test is appropriate for frequency data in unordered categories, provided the observations are independent.

This card lists criteria for using the chi-squared test: data must be frequencies of unordered categories and results must be independent.

Front Criteria to use chi squared
Back Data is about frequencies for different categories and the categories don’t have any particular order
(Categorical)

Each person only appears in your results once, your results should not have been able to interfere with each other (independent)
