Dna Labelled Array Human Process Microarray Sample Fluorescently

DNA microarray analysis involves washing a fluorescently labeled DNA sample over the array; sequences that match the probes bind, and after washing, the array is viewed under UV light to detect hybridization.

In DNA microarray analysis, fluorescently labeled DNA from a sample is washed over the array. Matching sequences bind to probes, and after washing off unbound DNA, the array is visualized under UV light to detect bound DNA.

Back Sample of fluorescently labelled human DNA washed over array

If labelled human DNA contain any DNA sequences that match any of the probes, it will stick to the array

The array is washed, to remove any labelled DNA that hasn't stuck to it

Array is visualised under UV light- any labelled DNA attached to a probe will show up
