Shorter Sarcomere Contracted Band Stay Length I Band H Zone

During contraction, the A band length is constant, but the I band and H zone shorten, resulting in a shorter sarcomere.

During sarcomere contraction, the A band remains constant, while the I band and H zone shorten, causing the overall sarcomere to shorten.
