Temperature Speed Affect Conduction Action Potentials Increases Ions

Conduction speed increases with temperature due to faster ion diffusion up to about 40°C, after which denaturation slows it down.

Increasing temperature initially increases conduction speed due to faster ion diffusion, but speeds decrease above 40°C as proteins begin to denature.

Front How does temperature affect the speed of conduction of action potentials
Back As temperature increases the ions diffuse faster only upto 40 degrees. After 40 degrees proteins begin to denature and speed decreases
