To prepare a temporary mount, place a drop of water on a slide, add a thin section of the specimen, then a stain, and cover with a coverslip, carefully lowering it to cover the specimen.
Para preparar uma montagem temporária, coloca-se uma gota de água numa lâmina, adiciona-se uma secção fina do espécime, depois um corante, e cobre-se com uma lamela, inclinando-a cuidadosamente para cobrir o espécime.
