Love Honey John Keats La Belle Dame Sans

Front John Keats - La Belle Dame sans Merci. A Ballad
Explore: x5
                VII
She found me roots of relish sweet,
And honey wild, and manna-dew,
And sure in language strange she said -
'I love thee true'.
Back •'honey wild' suggests sweet and pure
•'manna-dew' God rained down manna for Moses and Exidus to eat as they were on their way to a land of milk and honey => religiously spiritual, whereas previously was just spiritual because of the cross over from the finite world to the supernatural - reader apprehensive that he may be wishfully thinking
•From her perspective, this religious/eros love is what constitutes 'true' love
•Replenishment imagery - is it sexual? Or is it like giving life/livelihood? => her potency
•Is his account of the story accurate? Given the misuse of French in the title + 'language strange' => miscommunication about what they are / what is love? (They generally use 'compassion' et 'grâce')
