Atrial Walls Systole Occur Sa Node Generates Action

Atrial systole occurs when the SA node generates an action potential that spreads across the atrial walls, causing simultaneous contraction of the cardiac muscle in the left and right atria.

Front How does atrial systole occur?
Back - SA node generates action potential
- wave of depolarisation spreads across atrial walls
- cardiac muscle in LA and RA walls contract simaltaneously
