Blood Pressure Impulses Decreases Baroreceptors Aortic Arch Carotid

When blood pressure decreases, baroreceptors send impulses to the cardioacceleratory center, which increases heart rate and stroke volume via the sympathetic nerve.

Quando la pressione sanguigna diminuisce, i barorecettori inviano impulsi al centro cardioacceleratorio, che aumenta la frequenza cardiaca e la gittata sistolica attraverso il nervo simpatico.

Front What happens when blood pressure decreases?
Back - baroreceptors in aortic arch and carotid arteries
- detect decrease in blood pressure
- receptors send impulses to cardio acceleratory centre in medulla oblongata

- CAC sends more impulses to SA node
- via sympathetic nerve
- heart rate and stroke volume increase
