Phospholipids Triglycerides Fatty Acids Hydrophobic Differences P Phosphate

Phospholipids differ from triglycerides by containing phosphorus, having two fatty acids and a phosphate group (instead of three fatty acids), and possessing both hydrophilic and hydrophobic regions.

- phospholipids contain P but triglycerides do not - triglycerides have 3 fatty acids while phospholipids have 2 fatty acids and a phosphate group - triglycerides are hydrophobic while phospholipids have a hydrophilic head and hydrophobic tail
