Administered Immunization Process Generating State Immunity Artificial Means

Immunization is the process of artificially creating immunity, either through vaccination (active) or antibody transfer (passive). Active immunization introduces a weakened pathogen to stimulate a lasting immune response, while passive immunization provides immediate but temporary protection.

Imunização é o processo de geração de um estado de imunidade por meios artificiais. Na imunização ativa, também chamada de vacinação, uma forma inativada ou enfraquecida de um patógeno é administrada, induzindo respostas de células B e T e memória imunológica. Na imunização passiva, anticorpos específicos para um micróbio particular são administrados, conferindo proteção imediata, mas temporária.
