HDL (high-density lipoprotein) is a blood particle made of cholesterol, lipids, phospholipids, and proteins. High levels of HDL are associated with a reduced risk of blood vessel blockage.
high-density lipoprotein (HDL) is a blood particle composed of cholesterol and lipids, surrounded by phospholipids and embedded proteins. Higher levels of HDL may reduce the risk of blood vessel blockage.
