Cell Cellular Transduction Type Horizontal Gene Transfer Phages

Transduction is a type of horizontal gene transfer in which phages (viruses) carry bacterial DNA from one host cell to another, or, in cellular communication, the conversion of a signal from outside the cell to a form that can bring about a specific cellular response.

Transdução é um tipo de transferência horizontal de genes em que fagos (vírus) transportam DNA bacteriano de uma célula hospedeira para outra, ou, na comunicação celular, a conversão de um sinal de fora da célula para uma forma que possa produzir uma resposta celular específica.
