Window Opening Round Bone Surrounding Cochlea.  Movements Membrane Permit

The round window is an opening in the bone surrounding the cochlea, allowing vibrations to be transmitted through the oval window into the cochlea.

La ventana redonda es una abertura en el hueso que rodea la cóclea, permitiendo la transmisión de vibraciones a través de la ventana oval hacia la cóclea.

Back An opening in the bone surrounding the cochlea.  Movements of the membrane behind this opening permit vibrations to be transmitted through the oval window into the cochlea.
