Atp Steps Hydrogens Pumped Matrix Cytochrome Complex Creating

Steps of the ETC: 1. Hydrogens are pumped out of the matrix by the cytochrome complex, creating a proton-motive gradient. 2. Hydrogen ions move by passive transport from the intermembrane space to the matrix, through ATP synthase. 3. ATP synthase changes shape and creates ATP within the matrix.

Text STEPS TO ETC
1. hydrogens are pumped out of the matrix by the cytochrome complex, creating a proton-motive gradient.
2. hydrogen ions move by passive transport from the intermembrane space to the matrix, through the enzyme called ATP synthase.
3. ATP synthase changes shape and creates ATP within the matrix.
