Angioplasty/catheterization involves threading a plastic tube into an arm or leg artery, inflating a balloon to force a clogged vessel open, and leaving a metal stent behind.
L'angioplastica / cateterizzazione prevede l'inserimento di un tubo di plastica in un'arteria del braccio o della gamba, il gonfiaggio di un palloncino per aprire un vaso ostruito e il posizionamento di uno stent metallico.
