Populations Speciation Definition Stages Formation Biological Species 1 Populations

Speciation is the formation of new biological species and involves populations becoming physically isolated, developing genetic variation, experiencing different natural selection pressures, and eventually becoming unable to interbreed successfully.

Back The formation of new biological species

1-populations become physically isolated from each other
2-genetic variation is present between two populations
3-natural selection operates differently in the two populations
