Back | Subsequent assignment revokes any prior revocable assignment. If first assignment was an irrevocable, then the first assignee has priority. But if second assignee is a BFP for value without notice of the first assignment, then whoever gets payment or judgment first has priority. If the second assignee knows about a prior assignment, then he is estopped from asserting a claim over the other assignee. |
