Accused Innocent Water Trial Ordeal Case Clear Cut

Front What was trial by ordeal?
Back If the case was not clear cut, God will decide if the accused was innocent.
Hot water/ iron - heat was used to burn the accused hands which was bandaged and if it healed well the accused was found innocent otherwise guilty.
Cold water - thrown into water if sinks, innocent and will be hurled up but if floating, guilty
