Experimental Answer Qualitative Empirical Gestalt Psychology Fall Tradition

Front Where does Gestalt Psychology fall in the experimental tradition?  Was it Empirical?
Back The answer to this is subjective. If one considers qualitative research today to be empirical than yes it does. However, there is debate about qualitative vs. quantitative currently so the answer to this depends on the person being asked. I consider experimental especially since at the time this was being compared to introspection which is not empirical in the least by today’s standards.
