Bone Clavicle Slender S Shaped Attached Ligaments Sternum End

Front What is the clavicle?
Back This is a slender, S-shaped bone attached by ligaments to the sternum on one end and to the acromion process on the other. It acts as a strut to keep the shoulder propped up; however, because it is slender and very exposed, this bone is vulnerable to injury. It is also called the collarbone.
