Skin Force Injury Occurs Difference Blunt Trauma Penetrating

Front What is the difference between 1) blunt trauma and 2) penetrating trauma?
Back With the first, the force of the injury occurs over a broad area, and the skin is usually not broken. However, the tissues and organs below the area of impact may be damaged.
With the second, the force of the injury occurs at a small point of contact between the skin and the object. The object pierces the skin and creates an open wound that carries a high potential for infection.
