Skull Basilar Fractures High Energy Trauma Occur Diffuse Impact

Back These are associated with high-energy trauma, and usually occur following diffuse impact to the headj (e.g. falls, motor crashes). These injuries generally result from extension of a linear fracture to the base of the skull and can be difficult to diagnose with radiography (X-ray).
