Back | The symptoms of this condition are as follows: The shoulder joint will usually be locked, and the sholder will appear squared off or flattened. The humeral head will protrude anteriorly underneath the pectoralis major on the anterior chest wall. As a result, the anxillary nerve may be compressed, causing a numb patch on the outer aspect of the shoulder. Be sure to document this finding. |
