Concentration High Diffuses Alveolus Blood State Gases Exchanged

In the alveoli, oxygen diffuses from the alveoli into the blood, and carbon dioxide diffuses from the blood into the alveoli, through the process of diffusion.

Dans les alvéoles, l'oxygène diffuse des alvéoles vers le sang, et le dioxyde de carbone diffuse du sang vers les alvéoles, par le processus de diffusion.

Front State what gases are exchanged from where to where in the alveoli by what process.
Back
  • Oxygen diffuses out of the alveolus (high concentration) into the blood (high concentration)
  • Carbon dioxide diffuses out of the blood (high concentration) into the alveolus (low concentration) to be breathed out.
