Light Intensity Affect Rate Transpiration Brighter Greater Stomata

Higher light intensity increases transpiration rate as stomata open for photosynthesis, allowing more water vapor to escape.

Front How does light intensity affect the rate of transpiration?
Back The brighter it is, the greater the transpiration rate. Stomata close when it is dark because they don't need to let in CO2. When they are closed, little water can escape.
