Ventricle Left Wall Thicker Pump Blood Higher Pressure

The left ventricle wall is thicker because it must pump blood at higher pressure to the entire body, unlike the right ventricle which pumps only to the lungs.

Front Why is the wall of the left ventricle thicker than the right?
Back Because the left ventricle has to pump blood at a higher pressure around the entire body whereas the right ventricle only goes to the lungs.
