Blood Arteries Vital End Structure Supply Organs Brain

Front End arteries
Back Structure: arteries that supply blood to vital organs (ex: brain, liver, kidneys) but that do not anastomose or do only to a very small extent (ex: heart)

Function: provide blood to vital organs, but if injury or disease obstructs them, blood flow cannot be rerouted through collateral circulation.
