Back | Mechanism: 1. Deoxygenated blood from body goes to IVC and SVC into right atrium 2. Enters right ventricle through tricuspid valve 3. Enters pulmonary trunk through pulmonary valves and becomes oxygenated in lungs 4. Oxygenated blood returns to left atrium through 4 pulmonary veins. 5. Blood enters left ventricle through mitral valve. 6. Blood enters aorta through aortic valve and is distributed throughout the body. Function: how deoxygenated blood is brought to the lungs and how oxygenated blood is distributed throughout the body |
