Lung Pleura Sacs Parietal Visceral Body Wall Pleural

Structure: thin, closed sacs of serous membrane that surround each lung up to the lung root, contain lubricating material inside. Include the parietal pleura and the visceral pleura.

Function: attach the parietal pleura to the body wall and the visceral pleura to the lung, while allowing movement between the body wall and lung
