Back Cell structure: striated, very long, cylindrical, parallel, multinucleated, and electrically isolated

Function: move bones and other structures attached to muscle

Type of contraction: all-or-nothing (view motor unit)

Control: voluntary (except for reflex control and unconscious CNS influence - diaphragm)

Innervation: motorneuron with cell body in CNS (spinal cord or brainstem) and axon traveling via spinal nerves of PNS.
