Vertebral Posterior Longitudinal Ligament Bodies Structure Portion Canal

Front Posterior longitudinal ligament
Back Structure: ligament on the posterior portion of vertebral bodies (within vertebral canal) from skull to sacrum.

Function:
1. Limit flexion of spine
2. Binds vertebral bodies together
3. With anterior longitudinal ligament, helps prevent protrusion of intervertebral disks.
