The expulsion or conversion of the Mudejars ?

Persecution of this group included = Heavy tax from 1495-99 

Cisneros = Used a 'loophole' in the treaty to imprison those who refused to return to Christianity - with focus on Muslim wives

The Rebellion of the Alpu-jarras = This broke the agreement of the Treaty of Granada 

Isabella used this as excuse to = Crush the Mudejars by force in 1499 and abolish the Treaty with their rights and customs no longer allowed

1502 = Expulsion or conversion

Outcome = Most remained and became Moriscos but this policy was not extended to Aragon where Mudejars remained
