Alleles Segregation Gene Laws Established Mendel's Experiments  Organisms

Mendel's laws include segregation (one allele per gamete), independent assortment (alleles for different genes segregate independently), and dominance (recessive alleles are masked by dominant ones).

segregation: organisms have alleles that are separated so each gamete contains only one allele
independent assortment: The segregation of alleles for one gene occurs independently to that of any other gene (exception: linked genes)
dominance: Recessive alleles will be masked by dominant alleles
