Form Histone Eukaryotic Traits Multiple Linear Dna Proteins

Eukaryotic traits involve multiple linear DNA with histone proteins organized into nucleosomes, chromatosomes, solenoids, 30 nm fibers, and chromatin, which supercoils into chromosomes.

Los rasgos eucariotas incluyen múltiples ADN lineales con proteínas histonas, formando nucleosomas, cromatosomas, solenoides, fibras de 30 nm y cromatina, que se superenrollan para formar cromosomas.

Text Eukaryotic traits:

-multiple linear DNA with histone proteins

Organization of DNA:

-DNA is complexed with eight histone proteins (an octamer) to form a nucleosome
-nucleosomes are linked by H1 histone to form a string of chromatosomes
-coil to form a solenoid structure which is condensed to form a 30 nm fibre
-these fibres then form loops, which are compressed and folded around a protein scaffold to form chromatin
-chromatin will then supercoil during cell division to form chromosomes
