Function Enzymes  Bind Substrate Stresses Destabilises Bonds Reduce

The function of enzymes is to bind to a substrate, stressing and destabilizing bonds to reduce the overall energy level of its transition state (Ea), allowing the reaction to proceed at a faster rate.
