Animals Increase Roots Soil Deforestation Occur Consequences Wood

Front Why does deforestation occur and what are the consequences?
Back Wood can be used as a fuel and increasing populations also increase demand for land.
Animals will lose their homes and sources of food, species of plants and animals can go extinct this way, 
Without plant roots the soil is more likely to erode and can end up in lakes or rivers,
With less soil, flooding becomes more common which can kill animals and rot roots,
Carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere increase which increases climate change.
